On Monday night, the Falcons hosted the Mesick Bulldogs for a twin bill. In the first game, Malachi Bigsby dominated the mound, pitching five out of six innings, giving up no walks and striking out six. The Falcons made solid contact throughout the game, yet found themselves repeatedly stranded due to the Bulldogs' tight defense. Jonny Arnouts made key plays, catching consecutive fly balls in the sixth inning to seal the game. The match concluded with a 6-0 victory for the Bulldogs.
The second game initially saw the Falcons leading 5-1 by the middle of the second inning. However, the Bulldogs responded vigorously, scoring nine runs in the bottom half of the inning. The Falcons attempted to regain their rhythm but only managed to add one more run in the fourth inning. The game ended with the Bulldogs ahead, 16-6. Brody Austin opened as pitcher for the Falcons but was replaced by Kaleb Brown in the second inning due to the Bulldogs' offensive surge.

Congratulations to Chase McGuire-Vangills who broke the middle school record in the 100 meter dash tonight with a time of 12.34! Awesome work Chase!!

Again, this proposal has been scaled down per community request from the last two proposal and we are only seeking to do what is necessary to keep our students WARM, SAFE and SECURE!

It sounds like a thrilling doubleheader! In the first game, the Falcons faced a tough challenge, with Malachi pitching impressively through all six innings. Unfortunately, the lack of offensive support led to a 6-1 loss. The second game was a nail-biter, with the score see-sawing back and forth. The Falcons rallied impressively in the second inning and managed to hold on for a close 9-8 win, thanks to Kaleb Brown's clutch performance in the final moments. Great effort from the team across both games!

Congratulations to our April 2024 JH/HS Students of the Month: Raylan Lentz (7th); Emma Werkema-Grondsma (8th); Logan Fatura (10th); and, Josephyn Mannor (10th)! Great work, students!
