Our Community Pride Day was a success! The rains from the early morning cleared and our students were able to get a lot of cleaning done around the village! You could see your students at the Pentwater Historical Museum, Mears State Park, Pentwater VFW hall, Pentwater library, Pentwater Park Place, Artisan Center, various village gardens, cemetery, Methodist church, as well as various private residences 'sprucing' up these areas before the summer season begins! Thank you to the students, you all did amazingly well and even had some fun! Thank you to those that assisted and directed our workers: Terry Roach and members of the Pentwater Historical Society, Lynne Cavazos , Jenni Cisler, Sue Hopp, Harry Babcock, Mary Barker, Paula Aerts, Jim Carlson, Manny at the State Park, John Faas and, our amazing staff!

On Wednesday afternoon, Pentwater Baseball faced off against the Brethren Bobcats in a doubleheader. Malachi Bigsby pitched the first 3 1/2 innings of Game 1 before Kaleb Brown took over to close it out. Doubles from Brody Austin, Abram Kieda, and Kaleb Brown propelled the Falcons to an early 4-0 lead in the first inning. Consistent hitting and smart base running secured a 13-6 victory for the Falcons.
Game 2 mirrored the start of the first, with Brody Austin pitching a complete game. Contributions from all players, including impressive hits from Kyle Oomen and Ben Wisenbaugh, led to a decisive 13-2 win.

Our seniors commandeered our staff parking lot this morning, Thursday, 5/16, while eating their breakfast and and playing cornhole as a "senior prank"! We think Dr. K was having a little bit too much fun!

Pentwater Varsity Softball had a double header at home this Wednesday, May 15, against the Brethren Bobcats. Game 1 started off strong with a double by Mandi Sayles who was later driven in by Kenna Hasil. Untimely errors and a few key hits by the Bobcats brought the second half of the game out of reach as Pentwater lost in game one 12-2.
The second game was much closer as Pentwater was able to tighten up the defense, limiting unforced errors. Although the Falcons hit the ball hard, the Bobcat's strong defense stopped any momentum from happening. Pentwater's lone run came off the bat of Aubrie Adams who laced a single up the middle for an RBI after Kenna Hasil's line drive triple in the gap to right field. The final of game 2 was 6-1.
Official Record: 2-9
