The students participated in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) activity and were able to create a controller in the FAB lab. The Lakeshore Fab Lab is a place like no other in West MI. The Fab Lab connects high technology equipment and age-appropriate K-12 STEM related "gadgets" with knowledgeable staff and volunteers. Thank you for this awesome field trip opportunity!

The last elementary Book Swap of this school year was a great success! 133 books were chosen to be read and enjoyed this summer.
Remember to read all summer long! Read a book, read a recipe, read a menu, read a magazine, read in a blanket fort, read in a hammock, read at a park, read with a friend, read to your pet.... Just keep on reading!
Happy reading, Mrs. Voss, Reading Interventionist K-3

The first graders had a great time walking to House if Flavors and learning about the shop and how waffle cones are made today!
