Congratulations to Niko Kainulainen for winning the bike through the Win With Wellness Fit Club. Students are encouraged to participate in the 100 Mile Challenge where they record 100 miles of activity during the school year (one hour of activity is equivalent to one mile). Those who complete all 100 miles are entered into a drawing for a bicycle with one winner being chosen at each school! "Life is like riding a bicycle. Congratulations and good luck to Nathan Macher and golf coach, Alicia Kolenda, as Nathan participates in the MHSAA state finals in golf on Friday, 6/6, and Saturday, 6/7! Our golf team had a phenomenal season and the team received a letter from Senator Jon Bumstead who congratulated the entire team on their success and lauded their determination and hard work to achieve success in the future! Your PHS family is proud of your accomplishments and the most important shot in golf is the next one!

BOOKS FOR THE BEACH (or hammock, camper, porch, etc.) Mrs. Voss has been thrilled to receive an abundance of book donations over the last few years, so she invited elementary students to choose up to 5 books each to take home and enjoy. The hope is that the children will continue reading throughout the summer. Have fun and be creative with the places you choose to read at. A special thank you to all who have donated books! 505 books are on their way to new homes.
Fitness Center Summer Hours: Beginning Monday, 6/9, the fitness center summer hours are Monday thru Thursday, 6am - 12pm, excluding July 4 (or otherwise posted).
PPS thanks our local Falcon alumni-owned ice cream parlor and restaurant, House of Flavors, for generously inviting all of our classes and students to make a trip to the ice cream store for a special end of the school year yummy treat! We thank all of our local businesses and business owners who generously support our students and district time and again; they are all amazing and we are so appreciative of this awesome community! "We love books and reading!" said the 2nd Graders in Mrs. Fleming's class. Gram Cracker Cindy shared many wonderful stories with the 2nd Graders throughout the year. She was inspired by the class to transform a thrifted cabinet into a special "Little Library," with the handiwork help of Uncle Jim. The students added some special touches with thumbprint flowers, and then filled it with books to share. You can find this reading treasure located at Hill and Hollow Campground (coming soon). A special thank you to Gram Cracker Cindy for her kindness and support to our Pentwater students, staff and community!
Reminder that JH/HS semester 2 exams take place on Wednesday, 6/4; Thursday, 6/5; and, Friday, 6/6! All students are dismissed at 11:30am on 6/4-6/6 with Friday, 6/6, being the last day of the 2024-2025 school year! Reminder to students to take home all bikes that are left in the bike racks, you'll want to use them this summer!

Pinatas for sale! Pinatas are great for birthdays, reunions, the 4th of July and all family gatherings! Suggested donations start at $10 and all money supports the Spanish and Art Club. Sale will run everyday after school in the school lobby until they're gone, first come, first serve.

What is agriscience and where can you find it in your community? Get ready to learn from local agriscience professionals about their careers at an AgriScience Everywhere camp during summer July 2025. This camp, with instructor Erika Fatura, introduces students going into grades 5-8 (2025-2026 school year) to hands-on activities that require teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving along with visits to local agriscience companies! Register online today, space is limited - the cost is free!
The Pentwater Falcons traveled to Mason County Central for a single game matchup. The Lady Falcons came out aggressive with Karina Olivarez and Aubrie Adams on early. Mandi Sayles then drove in Olivarez with a sac fly to center. Adams later scored on a wild pitch. Sadly, that was all the Falcons could score and the game was lost 17-2. However, the ladies kept it positive and great catches were made by Isabel Babbin at second, Paige Sadenwater in right, and Lauren Davis in center. The Falcons head to districts next at MCE (opponent determined at tonight's MCE vs. White Cloud game) with a game start time of 10 am.
