Aah, Venice! The Spanish and Art Club explored Venice, Italy, and enjoyed a gondola ride. The rain didn't dampen spirits as they enjoyed an Italian cappuccino. The photo of the ancient blue clock is a clock that was used before we humans even knew that the earth revolved around the sun! There is still so much to see and our history does shed light on how far we've come but we also reflect on all that we do not yet know. More of our discoveries coming up, stay tuned!

The Pentwater Varsity Track team competed at the Mason County Eastern Invite today. The boys took 3rd place behind MCE and Mesick with 102 points with only 7 athletes! We are 6th in the state for division 4! Super proud of these guys! 🏀 Way to represent Pentwater in a great manner!

Our Spanish & Art Club Pentwater beach/water kids swam in the Adriatic Sea! More adventures follow, stay tuned!

Our Spanish/Art Club students made it to Florence, Italy, on Sunday, 4/7!

The Pentwater Varsity track team kicked off their first meet of the season at the Hart and Sole Music Invite! It was a competitive meet with 13 schools! We were not able to bring our whole team as nine of them are headed to Italy for a school trip! For those who were able to compete, we had a great meet! Seven of the sixteen athletes participated in their very first varsity track meet. Several of them are brand new to the sport of track! I am so proud of how they were all able to support one another. I could see their confidence build throughout the meet! Abe VanDuinen was our lone medalist earning 3rd place medals in both the 1600 and 800. This team has impressed me so much already in their hard work, dedication and positive attitudes. I cannot wait to see what is in store for the future! We were also able to use our brand new personalized tent! Thank you so much to the Pentwater Sports Boosters for their support! Go Falcons!! 💜💛

Our 3rd and 4th grade students enjoyed a field trip on Tuesday, 4/2, to The Wildlife Center at Legends Ranch. The students had a great time with two guided tours! The Ranch is set up to explore the outdoors as well as the over 3,000 exhibits of indoor wildlife exhibits! Our tour guides helped students using a passport book to understand what animals they were seeing and to hear first-hand on how conservation, wildlife, predator/prey relationships and population controls have benefits. Students had an engaging experience learning about animal characteristics and being able to touch animal furs, bones and antlers. What a great time; thank you to Legends Ranch and their awesome tour staff!
