Esports competed last night Team 1 competed against Godfrey-Lee we won both matches, going all 5 rounds. Team 2 almost didn't compete due to sickness, but we managed to play against Comstock Park 3. This team is undefeated; however, we did knock out two of their players in the second match. I am thrilled with how far we have come in our first season of competing, and I am looking forward to the last two matches of the regular season to see what we can do.

Memories of a good friend! We thank the family of Bill Briggs for the donation of the new AED in our school lobby as well as four new trees for the front lawn in memory of our dear friend, Bill! Bill Briggs was employed by PPS as a sub bus driver in 1992 before being hired full time in 1997 as the facilities/transportation director. Bill took great pride in our students, staff, district and facilities for many years prior to his retirement in 2009. Bill passed away on August 21, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. We know many considered Bill a great friend and he is missed! PPS thanks you for your donation in memory of our friend!

Pentwater Esports Team 1 went up against Comstock Park team 4 on Wednesday. Rodney and Bode had an easy time against them, beating Comstock Park with an easy 2-0 sweep. Team 2 went up against the undefeated Garber. They stayed undefeated, but Alden, Lily, and Hunter put up a great fight bringing them down to 1 stock in the final match. Both teams did a great job and show a very bright future moving forward.
