The Spanish and Art club made it home with a special thanks to all of our community partners! They had the fastest EVER re-entry into the United States as a result of the group t-shirts as well as a little luck and a lot of great manners! "Traveling is the ruin of all happiness! There's no looking at a building after seeing Italy." - Fanny Burney (1752-1840) English Novelist and Playwright

Heading home from Italy 2024!
Logan Fatura and Mrs. Gallie Italy 2024
The Spanish and Art club students ended their Italy trip by traveling to Rome where they walked around the city center and then toured the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Amazed faces were the result of their visit to St. Peter's Basilica. They also saw the very famous Pieta, sculpted by Michelangelo in 1498! The group will be traveling back to the United States on Sunday, 4/14, exhausted but so grateful for the opportunity to tour Italy with its delicious foods, stunning architecture and rich history! Thank you to all those that supported our group in this latest adventure!

Aah, Venice! The Spanish and Art Club explored Venice, Italy, and enjoyed a gondola ride. The rain didn't dampen spirits as they enjoyed an Italian cappuccino. The photo of the ancient blue clock is a clock that was used before we humans even knew that the earth revolved around the sun! There is still so much to see and our history does shed light on how far we've come but we also reflect on all that we do not yet know. More of our discoveries coming up, stay tuned!
