It's been awhile since we've been able to share some music with the community... but on Friday, August 7th, 2020 our very own Johnathon VanDuinen jammed out on guitar at a fundraiser for our music department with gigging musicians Clif Metcalf and Jake Metcalf! It was a fun evening for all and was so nice to get out and (safely) make some music!

Attention Parents and Student Athletes. If you are interested in playing a Fall sport, we will be having a parent/player/coach meeting on August 5th at 6:30pm. We will be meeting outside on the softball field, so please bring a chair and most importantly a face mask. This meeting is for any student 6th-12th grade who is interested in playing a Fall sport. Thanks! Go Falcons!

Children need healthy meals to learn. Pentwater Public Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Please take a moment to review the attached frequently asked questions document regarding food service and income eligibility guidelines for the upcoming 2020/2021 school year. You will receive a paper application in the mail in August but you can get a head start and do an online application today. Please visit our website at www.pentwaterschools.net and look under Food Service/LunchApp and apply or you may download the 2020/2021 Food Service Application from the website and return it to the school for processing. We encourage all to apply; in fact, if your family does qualify, the district may benefit from the increase in percentage of qualified students. Some of our revenue is based on the percentage of free and reduced students in our district. If you are eligible, we would like to report the actual percentage; the information is always confidential but your student can carry their own lunches if they prefer and still help the district.

The MDE Office of Special Education is excited to share information with you regarding a webinar series opportunity, "Strategies for Supporting Your Child's Learning At Home". This is a 3-part webinar series about planning for your child's transition back to school and learning what you can do to support learning in your home
