Congratulations to our Class of 2023! Graduation ceremony will take place tonight, 5/25/23, at 7pm, in the school gymnasium. The doors will open at 6:30pm.




GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENT: Our graduation ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, 5/25/23, at 7pm. Due to the cooler weather coming in for tomorrow evening we will be moving our graduation ceremony from the Village Green to the school's large gymnasium.

Pentwater Junior Sailing Program!


COMMUNITY PRIDE DAY 2023 - Rain or Shine! Our 8th-12th grade students spent the morning on Friday, 5/19/23, completing community pride hours. You could see students working outside at various locations cleaning up leaves, shoveling sand, spreading mulch and inside cleaning various sites. Students assisted in clean up at the school, Charles Mears State Park, VFW Hall, Pentwater Library, Pentwater Park Place, Artisan Center, Channel Lane Park, Pentwater Museum, Methodist Church, Village Cemetery, village gardens as well as various personal homes!











ATHLETICS ANNOUNCEMENT: The baseball scheduled for Friday, 5/19/23, home versus Bear Lake, has been canceled.


Owen McTiernan is the son of Lisa Hofmann and Sam McTiernan. Owen plans on attending Muskegon Community College.


Michael Sproul is the son of Bill Sproul and Ana Sproul. Michael plans to attend Grand Valley State University for a business related degree.


Grace Stoneman is the daughter of Jennifer and Ronald Stoneman. Grace plans on attending the College of Literature Science and the Arts at the University of Michigan. Her major is undecided but she hopes to go into a social service field.


Our elementary math & reading night was a huge success with over 105 people in attendance. Hot dogs and refreshments were served as well as opportunity for parents and students to play and learn some new games and each student visited the book bus to pick out a free book to read. It was awesome watching parents share favorite childhood books on the book bus! Door prizes were shared with the students as well. We thank all of the volunteers that helped make this evening special!











Anna VanDuinen is the daughter of Carrie and Brad VanDuinen. Anna plans to attend Kalamazoo College to study criminology or something closely related. She hopes to someday work in the FBI field. She also plans to run cross country and track while at college.


Carmen Garceran Martinez is the daughter of Lori Martinez and her host parents are Dr. Vaughn and Hillary Thurston-Cox. Carmen is planning to go back to Spain and attend college there. She will also receive military training in order to become a surgeon for the Spanish Army.


Lane Rood is the son of Shannon Larson and Erik Rood. Lane plans on attending Michigan Career and Technical Institute.


Evalena Jeruzal is the daughter of Carrie and Christopher Jeruzal. Evalena plans on attending Aquinas College to pursue a degree in biology. She then hopes to attend a medical school and become a pediatrician.


Nate Lentz is the son of the late Randy and Deb Lentz. Nate plans to continue his education in welding and find a job using those skills.


Marissa Sayles is the daughter of Melanie Sayles and the late John Sayles. Marissa plans on attending Northern Michigan University to pursue a degree in nursing and become an emergency nurse practitioner.


Our 18th Annual Community Pride Day will be on Friday, 5/19/23! You will see students out and about in the community helping to clean up Pentwater from the winter, such as raking leaves, cleaning up community gardens, shoveling sand at the state park, just to name a few!


Elijah Powers is the son of Judy and Tobin Powers. Elijah plans on attending Grand Valley State University to study computer science. His hope is to become a computer hardware technician.
