Hello, and welcome to the Pentwater Public Schools technology page. Here at Pentwater we are a 1:1 school, which means that every student at our school has their own personal tablet or computer. Currently our BK (begindergarten) through second grade students all have their own Asus Transformer tablet; and fourth grade students through twelfth grade students all have Dell Chromebook 11’s. With both devices (tablets and Chromebooks) we are currently using Google Apps for Education (GAFE). This allows our students devices to be constantly updated with new apps and extensions to aid in the learning process. In addition to the 1:1 devices, we have two computer labs, one located at our elementary end, and one located at the high school end of the building. We also have an iMac lab in our high school where students have been working with digital media production, coding, and even robotics. Our campus is supported by a robust wireless network that spans the entire building, inside and outside, which ensures secure connectivity to each and every device. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our technology director, Steve Rossiter, at techhelp@pentwater.k12.mi.us.
